Aurum Governance

The Aurum Institute is governed by a Board of Directors, supported by governance committees and led by a Group Management Executive consisting of a Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) supported by a Technical Expert Group; a Group Chief Operations Officer (COO) and a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mrs Phangisile Mtshali-Manciya

Phangisile Mtshali, is the director of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation "Secure the Future®", a programme currently covering 12 African countries in Southern Africa (5); West Africa (4) and East Africa (3).

She is currently charged with expanding the Foundation's programmes to cover the African continent. She is also responsible for the Foundation’s Hepatitis B/C programmes in Asia, currently covering China, India and Japan. With more than 20 years of experience in communications as well as programme development and management, Ms. Mtshali provides great value leading the community outreach and education programmes, liaise with governments and developing turn key health and community development programmes. She also served as a founding member on the board of governors for the South African Business Council on HIV/AIDS (SABCOHA), a chapter of Global Business Council on HIV/AIDS. She is a member of Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa and Project Managers Association of South Africa.
