Professor Gavin Churchyard, Group Chief Executive Officer, recently presented a plenary lecture at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI). In this session Churchyard shared recent advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis.
He also presented an oral abstract where he announced the results of the WHITP3TB study which found shorter regimen for preventing TB has lasting protective effect in people living with HIV.
The annual conference brings together together top basic, translational, and clinical researchers from around the world to share the latest studies, important developments, and best research methods in HIV/AIDS and related infectious diseases.
